This smoothie is a great way to include more super-food leafy greens in your diet! Loaded with omega-3 fats, vitamins, and antioxidants, it is one of my favourite drinks for glowing skin and increased energy.
- 1 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
- 1 scoop Vega One (natural flavour) protein powder or other vegan protein powder
- 1 cup organic destemmed kale or baby spinach (spinach has a milder taste)
- 1 medium, ripe banana
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds (pre-ground if your blender isn’t high powered)
- ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 3-4 ice cubes
- In a high-speed blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth in texture.
